Hi! I'm Jo.

I am a graduate of the Celebrant Foundation & Institute, a non-profit educational organization training professionals in the history, writing and performing of ceremonies.

As a Certified LifeCycle Celebrant™ I am not affiliated with any faith community or religious doctrine.  It is my honor to create ceremonies based on the beliefs of each and every client whether religious, spiritual or secular.

I hold a Master of Science Degree from the University of New Hampshire and was a pediatric speech pathologist for over a decade in the seacoast area of NH and Southern Maine.

I have enjoyed public speaking for over 25 years and began practicing my passion for ceremonial work in 2008.

As a Gay-Friendly Officiant and long-time ally and advocate to the LGBT community I am committed to serving all people with respect and dignity.

In addition to being a  Certified LifeCycle Wedding Celebrant™ I am also a Justice of the Peace in the state of NH and an  Ordained Inter-faith Minister of The Universal Brotherhood Movement which allows me to practice in surrounding states.

When I say "I love what I do" it is not a marketing ploy or casual tag line.  I have a true passion for the work that I feel so fortunate to do.  I believe that each human being is unique and every person's story is a story that deserves telling and celebrating.  I have a special passion for creating original rituals and ceremony elements based on the interests, activities, beliefs and personalities of my clients.

I look forward to celebrating with you.
